![]() ![]() By the way, what do you do with Gyroids in Animal Crossing? Well, let us discover that answer now. It's a worthwhile gift for Brewster fans in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and a fitting tribute to his long-awaited return to the Animal Crossing series.Gyroids are furniture items that come in most Animal Crossing games. Unlike other gyroids, players can only obtain the brewstoid by sitting down at The Roost cafe on 50 different days, at which point Brewster will present it to them. The brewstoid, true to its name, is modeled after fan-favorite Animal Crossing character Brewster and, much like the pigeon in question, makes a unique cooing noise when activated. Lastly, the most elusive gyroid in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also the best. ACNH GYROID FRAGMENT UPDATESqueakoids were quickly catapulted to a fan-favorite once the New Horizons 2.0 update released thanks to their colorful hair and the squeaking sound they make. It's movements are fun and dynamic, as well, as are that of the squeakoid. Similarly, the rumbloid's low humming noise adds an interesting bass layer to Animal Crossing's K.K. The bwongoid adds a subtle melody and a strong beat to any song it's paired up with, making it one of the more versatile gyroids in the game. Although the clatteroid's sound is more subtle than any of the other percussion-esque gyroids, producing a noise akin to that of someone tapping two sticks together, its unique movements and interesting color palette options make it a worthwhile addition to any New Horizons fan's gyroid collection. They're even smaller than many of the other miniature gyroids in Animal Crossing, though, and their tone includes more variation even if they aren't too dissimilar from clatteroids, sound-wise. Their harmonies are interesting, though, even if they arguably aren't the prettiest gyroid in the game either.Īnother visually uninteresting gyroid appears in the form of tockoids, which only have simple back-and-forth movements. Babbloids, on the other hand, don't work quite as well with many of the songs in New Horizons as their distinct tone can be overpowering. Their relatively dull appearance is made up for with an almost jazz-like musical element. The next percussion gyroid, the drummoid, sounds a bit like a cymbal being tapped. Its chiming is more high-pitched than many players might expect from the name, however, and its design when used as a decoration in Animal Crossing: New Horizons isn't all too visually remarkable. This leaves them lower on the list than other percussion gyroids, such as the xylophoid, which true to its name makes a sound resembling a xylophone. However, their deep drumming can easily overpower certain tracks. Related: Crafting In Animal Crossing Was The Wrong Callīoomoids are one of many gyroids that add percussion to K.K. As far as interesting dances go, there are less chaotic ones to turn to. The wallopoid also stands out with its constant, hectic movements, but as fun as it is it might be a bit much for players trying to create a cohesive and harmonious design. Its interesting facial structure, however, can add a unique element to certain room designs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Slider's music.Īlternating low and high notes, the dootoid falls about middle ground in terms of sound. However, some are better looking, and sounding, than others, and not every gyroid is versatile when it comes to pairing them up with K.K. Players can then plant these fragments and later dig up a fully-fledged gyroid to use as decoration or musical accompaniment. These gyroid fragments can appear on ACNH's beaches, washed up with the tide, as well. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, however, they primarily show up in the form of gyroid fragments. Just like in previous Animal Crossing games, gyroids can be dug up from the ground much like fossils. Thankfully, November 2021 brought around the last and largest of New Horizons' many updates, adding in these missing features and various other new gameplay elements to help refresh the game. ![]() For over a year following Animal Crossing: New Horizons' release date, gyroids were entirely missing from the game, as were various other fan-favorite elements such as Brewster's Roost cafe and the ability for villagers to visit the player's house. ![]()
